Indians have immense faith in the Elephant God. They offer prayers and respect to the Godly form of the animal. But in real cases, the four-legged animals have proved why they are worth all the respect. Elephants at different instances have proven their efficiency just as humans, or even better can we say? We are definitely not exaggerating when we say we have some great performers from India too!

A particular video has been going viral from Tamil Nadu, which shows an elephant playing the mouth organ. Now you’d deny the possibility, given the huge trunk structure, but in Coimbatore's Thekkampatti, the elephant rejuvenation camp, an elephant named Andaal can do it well. The elephant is seen holding the harmonica in his trunk and he plays few musical notes. It is just a 20-second clip but it is so just so cute to see the elephant enjoying the instrument. A proud mahout looks by and pats him as he takes the mouth organ from him.

Similar to Andaal, there is Laxmi who loves the tunes of the mouth organ so much that she even dances to it. There is an old video of Laxmi which shows her dancing by moving her head side to side and wagging her short tail. She plays the mouth organ outside a temple. She has been a centre of attraction!

Another clip surfaced on the internet, which shows an elephant picking up waste and putting it exactly in the dustbin. It is a shame on us humans, who nonchalantly throw wrappers and things around. This elephant could be a better mascot for the Swach Bharat Campaign, right?

A more creative one from India has been utilizing her potential to paint! Sandra from a circus in Malaysia loves to paint. She picks up the paintbrush and makes abstract paintings on a canvas. What’s even more impressive is Sandra’s paintings were auctioned off in Hungary! Three of Sandra’s paintings fetched $150 each and the money was donated to the elephant sanctuary in Malaysia. Unlike other elephants who have been forced to paint in Thailand, Sandra does it on her own. Her master Richter was quoted to Reuters, “I only help her with changing the brushes and putting them into paints but she does the rest by herself more or less. I praise her by saying ‘oh this is really good, or not so good.”
