Peru’s ‘Alien Mummies’: Mystery Around Controversial 3-Fingered ‘Mummified Aliens’ Deepens After New Research Indicates Fingerprints Are Not Human
The debate surrounding Peru's 'alien mummies' remains unresolved, with intriguing yet puzzling findings adding to the mystery. Maria's body is covered with diatomaceous earth, a white powder made from fossilised algae sediment found in water bodies.
The enigma surrounding Peru's 'alien mummies' has intensified after attorney and former Colorado prosecutor Joshua McDowell examined the three-fingered humanoid specimens, finding that their fingerprints are "straight" and unlike human patterns. McDowell and three independent forensic medical examiners from the United States inspected one of these weird and extraterrestrial bodies, named "Maria," and discovered that the fingerprints had perfectly straight lines. The experts, along with him, were left surprised to discover the straight lines on the alien corpses' fingerprints.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, McDowell expressed his astonishment, stating, "These were not traditional human fingerprint patterns” He added, “We did not see any loops or whorls on the prints of the fingers or on the toes. I’m a former prosecutor. I’m a criminal defence attorney. I’ve seen lots of fingerprints. And these were not classic fingerprints."
Mummified Aliens or Just Patched Dolls?
The ongoing mystery of these strange beings has led to debates about whether they are mummified aliens or simply cleverly constructed dolls. UFO enthusiast and controversial Mexican journalist José Jaime Maussan recently presented nearly half a dozen of these "alien mummies" at Mexico’s congress.
Last April, the US medical examiners and McDowell travelled to Peru with Maussan to study these unearthly bodies. Despite the perplexing lack of human fingerprint patterns, McDowell cautioned that it is "extremely premature" to draw any conclusions about the mummies' origins. He suggested that the straight fingerprints “could possibly have something to do with the way her skin was preserved,” noting, "It's very odd."
Maria's body is covered with diatomaceous earth, a white powder made from fossilised algae sediment found in water bodies. McDowell observed that “However, on the fingers that were exposed, the epidermal ridges I saw appeared to be in mostly straight lines”
Though the true nature of these humanoid bodies remains undetermined, McDowell has been dedicating considerable time to unravelling the case. These 4-foot tall "alien" beings, known as "the Nazca mummies" due to their discovery in Peru's Nazca region, have gained attention for their three fingers and elongated heads.
Maussan has repeatedly claimed they are aliens, a theory dismissed by government officials and scientists who consider it a hoax. In January, 2024, Peruvian authorities declared that the mummies were "dolls" assembled using human and animal bones, metal, glue, and paper. Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada stated, "They are not extraterrestrials; they are not aliens."
The debate surrounding Peru's 'alien mummies' remains unresolved, with intriguing yet puzzling findings adding to the mystery. While McDowell cautions against premature conclusions, the lack of definitive evidence keeps the mystery alive, fueling ongoing speculation and investigation into the true identity of the Nazca mummies.
