A satellite captured a 50-meter image of a penis engraved on the bottom of a dry lake near the Australian city of Geelong, a local newspaper the Geelong Advertiser reported. The huge picture in the shape of a phallus has been carved into a dry lake bed in Marcus Hill, apparently a ghost town, a suburb situated between Barwon Heads and Point Lonsdale in Australia and was discovered Monday morning by popular Facebook page Take The Piss Geelong. It has already amassed five-star reviews and social media commentary.

The Facebook group has shared the images of the crass crop circle creation, but it turns out that locals have been aware of it for months. The author of this creation has not yet appeared. In the comments post, Australians have admitted that they were convinced that the publication was fake until they checked it themselves on Google Earth. The landmark has gone viral and received hundreds of reviews since appearing online.

The Facebook page sought to find out who is behind this giant creation and wrote: “If the legend who did this can inbox us with any form of proof, that’d be awesome. We have a beer with your name on it.” Also, netizens reacted to the post with their quirky comments. One commented, “Travelled all the way from New York City to see this beauty. Would do it again.” Another commented, “Great to see such a firm Australian erection.”

The advertiser also noted that Google Maps users have stumbled onto X-rated images before. In 2011, New Zealand’s Fairfield College in Hamilton discovered six giant penises burned into the school’s grounds two years earlier – and were still visible on Google Maps. That is quite a Google Doodle, we must say.
