Parrots can be good at chattering, they are in fact, known to be talkative birds. They can imitate their owners well and learn to speak a few responses. But a firefighter from London had not so polite encounter with one. A blue-yellow parrot named Jessie was stuck on a roof in London and firefighters were called in for rescue since it had been three days the parrot was just on the roof. When a rescuer actually reached the parrot, she was not even slightly kind but swore at the firefighter instead. She said the 'F-word' at the crew manager, according to the witnesses at sight. The RSPCA took help of the London Fire Brigade (LFB) to rescue the bird from the roof. The RSPCA had tried to make a rescue but had failed, thus they called the firefighters to take charge. Animal experts had also told the rescuer to say 'I love you' to the bird, as an effort to bond with the bird. The London Fire Brigade Watch manager Chris Swallow who was present at the scene said, "Our crew manager was the willing volunteer who went up the ladder to try and bring Jessie down. We were told that to bond with the parrot, you have to tell her ‘I love you’, which is exactly what the crew manager did. While Jessie responded ‘I love you’ back, we then discovered that she had a bit of a foul mouth and kept swearing, much to our amusement." The parrot was multi-lingual and in order to make her understand the rescuer told her to 'come' in both Turkish and Greek. While the rescue was not exactly successful, as Jessie chose to fly away from the spot to another roof and then on a tree. She then went back to her owner. The owner then recorded a video of Jessie saying 'Thank You' to the rescuers.

Probably Jessie realised she was quite rude to them. Wonder how the firefighter must have felt after the first greeting.
