As technology makes things easier for humans, it is also making the pet parrots smarter, as has been observed in quite a few cases. Parrots are known to adapt quick words and can get really chattery at times. Rocco and Alexa are such good friends that when he wants to dance, Alexa plays him his favourite songs. And his favourite genre is rock, although he also loves swaying to slow numbers. Owner Marion Wishnewski was shocked when he learnt that there are so many pending orders in his account. There were snacks, watermelon and ice-cream too! In a report to Daily Mail, she said, "I have to check the shopping list when I come in from work and cancel all the items he's ordered." But because she has a parental lock on her Amazon account, the purchases do not become successful. Parrot Swears at London Firefighter Who Was Trying to Rescue Him From The Roof!

Rocco was rescued earlier this year by the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) after he was found as a stray. And he was always the naughty one. He was removed from a sanctuary because of his foul language. Wishnewski happens to work at the sanctuary and decided on adopting Rocco. And so when she returns home from work, she finds items added in her cart, soft music playing while Rocco dances to the tunes. African grey parrots are known for their cognitive abilities and can mimic speech very well. Rocco has made a very good friend in Alexa and uses it to make jokes as well.
