As Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan will be sworn-in as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan before August 14, a Pakistani baker is drawing attention for selling cakes featuring Khan. The cake shows Khan wearing his signature white pathani suit with a stole in the colours of party PTI. The cricketer-turned politician's party emerged as the single-largest party in the recently concluded general elections in Pakistan. Congratulatory messages for the politician and his party had been flooding social media since the win.

While pictures of the cake are now being circulated on social media, the baker Warda Zahid told The Indian Express that the cake was made last year after they received an order. The 22-year-old baker said, "Actually I was planning to make a figure of Imran Khan in PM’s black sherwani and launch it online since that would be fitting the political circumstances of the country. But before I could proceed with that, the old one caught attention."

After the picture went viral, Wahid said that she has been receiving many orders online for the Imran Khan cake. The cake weighs around 4kg and can be customised in flavours depending on the order. She also said that before Khan swears-in as the PM of the country, they will bake a cake of him in a sherwani. She added saying, "I've gotten loads of inquiries, and people say that they’ll confirm the order once the oath-taking ceremony is scheduled and announced officially."
