Pakistan Journalist Reports From His Own Wedding; Interviews Wife Hilariously: Watch Funny Video

Pakistan journalists committing bloopers is not a new thing! For long, funny videos across the border have surfaced online, that leaves us in guffaws. In a recent video that went viral on social networking site – Facebook, shows a journalist covering and reporting from his own marriage. Yes, you read that right! Imagine a journalist reporting from his own marriage. Well yeah, it is as bizarre as it sounds.

A short video was posted on a Facebook page – People of Pakistan – saw a City 41 channel journalist, Hanan Bukhari, achieving this unique feat. For a reporter, it is a known that you might have to report news from any nook and corner of your city, but then, reporting and covering it live from your marriage is taking craziness to a whole new level. Or maybe, the concept of ‘work from home’ was taken way too seriously.

Dressed in traditional wedding attire, facing the camera, Bukhari was quite ecstatic in the short funny video. Holding the mic he said, “Bahot khushi ka din hai mere liye aur mere gharwalo ke liye bhi. Meri kyunki love marriage hai aur love marriage mein meri wife bhi kafi khush hain.” (It is a very happy day for me and my family. Since it is a love marriage my wife is a very happy too).

The journalist, taking his job too seriously, questions his wife in a stereotypical manner. He asks, “What do you have to say about the lavish gifts – sports cars & bikes – which I have bought for you?” The wife takes it sportingly and happily answers to the question saying, “Bahot acha laga mujhe. Bahot acha laga mujhe aapne meri pehli khwaaish puri ki.” (I am a very happy person today. You fulfilled my first wish, and I hope you fulfill all my wishes and keep me happy in future).

The video has garnered well over 100k views in no time, and a lot of people have shared the same on their social media accounts. There are many videos available online where you can check and see the blunders some of the Pakistan journalists make.
