The New York-to-Dublin portal, designed to facilitate a visual connection between the two cities, encountered significant disruption on Sunday. This 24/7 New York-to-Dublin livestream, installed just last week, has faced continuous issues with inappropriate behaviour. The latest incident involved OnlyFans model Ava Louise, who has over 400,000 Instagram followers, flashing her breasts through the portal.
In a post on Sunday, Ava Louise claimed responsibility for causing the livestream to be temporarily shut down. She stated that she "thought the people of Dublin deserved to see two New York, homegrown potatoes," accompanying her comment with a video of herself lifting her tank top in front of the portal. Later, she shared footage of her boyfriend talking to a security staff member, who confirmed that the portal would be "down for quite some time" as organisers attempted to curb vulgar acts.

The street exhibit, located in New York's Flatiron District, has experienced considerable chaos since its launch last Wednesday. Most of the inappropriate conduct, including flashing swastikas and displaying a photo of the Twin Towers during the 9/11 attacks, has been attributed to troublemakers in Ireland.
The project, intended as a "bridge to a united planet," allows passersby to see, but not hear, each other through an 8-foot-by-8-foot video screen. Following a report in The Post about the misbehavior in Dublin, the Dublin City Council announced on Monday that it was working to address the ongoing issues with the stream.
Organisers initially attributed the shutdown to a temporary software problem, leaving it unclear whether the disruption was directly caused by Ava Louise's actions. The Portals Organization, the Lithuania-based company behind the installation, reported a "technical glitch" on Monday morning but confirmed that the portal was operational again shortly after.
