They can be loud, obnoxious and insistent on getting their own way. Or they are sly and devious. You can avoid naughty kids but not their terrific actions. Much like the Chinese netizens who could not ignore the viral of this hilarious incident performed by a young boy. And it was amusing! The kid in Southwest China entertained himself on a lift ride by urinating all over the control buttons. Yes, he actually did that. The occurrence was caught on a surveillance camera which showed the entire episode. The footage was posted on the Ministry of Public Security’s social account on Weibo – China’s Twitter-like service. The building was identified to be in southwest Chongqing, a city in the southwestern China. The footage has million views and like every time, the internet users were quick to respond.

In the video, the boy enters the empty lift alone on February 23 and selects his floor. Wondering what his next step should be, he unzips his fly and takes aim. Gradually, he succeeds in drenching the entire panel. Delighted by his act, he zips up waiting for the lift to reach its destination. But unfortunately, in a matter of seconds, the electrical system starts to fail and the buttons on the panel began to flash. The boy was then left panicking as the lifts flicker, leaving him stuck inside the darkened lift car. Chinese media reports suggest that the boy was safely rescued by the building maintenance staff. The boy’s urine is believed to have entered the control panel square beneath the buttons, causing it to short-circuit and cut out entirely.

Although it is admirable that he is able to aim and reach so high, but such turns can put anybody into serious damage. The Ministry took immediate step and has told the parents to better educate their children after sharing the video. According to BBC, it strictly states, “Please educate, and take good care of your children!” According to Beijing News, the boy’s father questioned the authenticity of the video. He said that his son could not yet urinate that high and the young boy too did not admit peeing in the lift.

Well, indeed it was a funny act, but we are thankful that the boy is safe!
