Mumbai, November 21: In a busy city like Mumbai, an auto-rickshaw driver has won hearts of Mumbaikars with extra-ordinary facilities in his auto. This auto is the city's first 'home system auto', providing commuters a hassle-free and enjoyable ride. According to a tweet by ANI, the auto, which has 'Mumbai's first home system auto-rickshaw' written at the back cover, provides passengers with excellent services in the city. The auto is equipped with wash basin, mobile phone charging points, purified drinking water, plants for freshness, desktop monitor among other mind-blowing facilities. The auto driver, Satyawan Gite, has made his auto with these facilities to provide comfortable rides to passengers.

Gite was quoted by ANI saying that he doesn't charge senior citizens for rides up to 1 km. "You can charge your phone in my auto, there is purified drinking water, there is wash basin. I also don't charge senior citizens for rides up to 1 km. The reason I did this is because I wanted to provide better services to passengers", he added. Transgender Rickshaw Driver From Mumbai is Winning Hearts on Social Media For Her Brave Survival Story.

In August this year, the Mumbai and Thane Regional Transport Offices (RTO) had launched a crackdown on auto-rickshaw drivers who refuse short distance rides and overcharge passengers. The RTO officials disguised themselves as passengers and launched a campaign in February 2019, following which nearly 12,342 auto drivers were found flouting the norms. Moreover, over 5,500 drivers were booked for over-seating, 6,257 were not carrying licences and 42 were fined for overcharging.
