Technology is improving day by day and booking cabs online is one of its recent example. Booking a cab has now been the easiest and fastest way to travel from one place to another. When a rider considers hiring a cab, it is often a quicker way to reach to your destination, without wasting time which one usually does while waiting for public transport.

Availability of cabs online has been a huge complement for the commuters. It has certainly reduced the hassles, as it gives doorstep pick up. But these cab aggregators, along with the drivers, are in a constant rush to get as many bookings in a short-span of time. And sometimes, their drivers venture into acts which are unimaginable and beyond sanity!

Recently, a man in Mumbai booked an Uber cab, but little did he know that he was in for a surprise. The driver had apparently taken a bizarre route. The passenger, Hussain Shaikh, shared a screenshot of his Uber cab on Facebook,  whose location showed that the cab was in the middle of the Arabian Sea. The man posted a humorous note on his Facebook account, “Aslam bhai submarine se aarele hai.”

Take a look at Hussain Shaikh’s screenshot that shows the location of the Uber driver in the middle of Arabian Sea!

The post was shared on February 15, and in no time, it went viral. The post has earned over 2,000 likes and more than 5,000 shares on Facebook. The people are laughing over it with funny and mocking reactions. However, this has not happen for the first time. In August 2015, a commuter shared a similar incident on Twitter, as his cab driver’s location was also showing somewhere in the South Atlantic Ocean. Twitterati went crazy at that time too!

Here is the Twitter reaction that showed the driver’s location at South Atlantic Ocean.

Though the cab facilities have decreased the everyday stress of finding a ride quickly, incidents such as these cannot be overlooked. It is not a matter of much concern, but it's amusing to see such random incidents happening around the world.
