Mumbai is often referred as the city that never stops, it is said that people don’t have any time for others. However, in case of any emergency, be it during the torrential rains or terrorist attacks, Mumbaikars have always showed their true spirit and have never failed to stand by their fellow citizens.
In a similar heart-warming incident, few days back, it was vegetable vendor Nilesh Nage whose wife fainted on the streets of Mumbai. His wife had to be admitted to Hiranandani Hospital and much to their horror, the hospital had ran out of B+ blood group. Nilesh requested help from IIT IIT Police Chowky and immediately to their rescue came Mumbai Police Constable, Ganesh Katte, who promptly accompanied the vegetable seller and without any delay donated blood to his ailing wife.
