MS Dhoni is bringing back his old hairstyle for a new TV commercial. Oh, don’t frown upon us and take a look at your favourite ‘Captain Cool’ flicking his mane in this funny advertisement for Snickers chocolate bar.

We saw Snickers’ latest commercial on television and could not help ourselves from bringing it to you. After all, it features one and only Dhoni and that too in his former stylish avatar. Dhoni who marked his arrival in the Indian cricket in 2004 was not only noticed for his explosive batting and sharp wicket-keeping but also his desi swag. Especially, his hairstyles from dyed streaks to Mohawks garnered much attention and earned the Jharkhand cricketer a wide fan following.

So, what is MS Dhoni’s new advertisement for the chocolate brand all about? Well, Snickers whose campaign theme has been a display of extreme reactions and tantrums thrown by individuals when hungry has roped in Dhoni, or shall we say Hangry Dhoni. The TVC opens in a locker room with players donning yellow jersey (Wuddup Chennai Super Kings Reference) just when their captain, Dhoni enters in a Gladiator avatar!

Yes, the cricketer is sporting a Roman Spartan Greek warrior with body armour, strapped sandals and a bat, which he wants to use as a sword. The confused team members finally understanding the reason behind Dhoni’s anger hands him a bar of chocolate. He takes a bit of the scrumptious chocolate to finally return to his normal avatar – which means back to the short hairstyle. Nevertheless, we are pleased to relieve our favourite cricketer’s stylish days from the past.
