Miss World Bangladesh 2018: Contestant Says H2O Is a Restaurant; Watch Viral Video

We have known H2O as the chemical formula for water. But to one of the beauties in Bangladesh, it is a restaurant at Dhanmondi!

On September 30, Janatul Ferdous Oishi was crowned as the Miss World Bangladesh 2018, following a dazzling night at the International Convention Centre Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. But Sunday night's show also had some hilarious moments, which amused the crowd.  One of them was when a contestant said H20 was a restaurant. H2O, as we commonly know, is the chemical formula for water. But to one of the beauties, it is a restaurant at Dhanmondi! It all started when one of the judges asked a contestant in their Q&A round, “What is the meaning of H2O?” The contestant, at first, did not understand the question and requested him to repeat. After giving it a lot of thought, the judge said, it means “water”. The confused contestant said, “There is a restaurant at Dhanmondi.” The judge says sarcastically, “We know there is a restaurant named h20, but we don’t know what it means. That’s not all! In the video, another female judge who tried to calm the stressful situation down, started her sentence with, “Good evening. No actually, good night.”

The ten contestants who reportedly reached the final were: Nishat Naoar Salwa, Manjira Bashar, Israt Jahan Sabrin, Smita Tumpra Baroi, Afrin Sultana Labonee, Sumona Nath Ananya, Naziba Bushra, Jannatul Maowa, Shirin Shila and Jannatul Ferdous Oishee.

Nishant Nawar Salwa and Naziba Bushra became the first and second runners-up, respectively. The candidates in Bangladesh were judged on the basis of their intellectualities, compassion, modelling cues and multiple other factors. The winner, who will represent the country to Miss World 2018, held in China in December.
