McDonald's is giving away free fries! Yes, you read that right, the fast food company is letting you have the famous French fries free of cost. And to avail free food, you have to download the app and use the coupon. Using that you can get a pack of free medium fries once every Friday. The offer will go on until the end of 2018. The only catch is that you will have to buy other food from them worth USD 1 or above. Also, customers can redeem the deal only once every Friday.

McDonald's also has a set of other deals going up to the end of the year. Buy something for USD 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and get a 20-piece McNuggets on any day of the week for USD 4.99. Click here for more details on the deals.

The offer is valid in the United States and Canada. It began on National French Day observed on July 14. The day witnesses large-scale celebrations, public events and a military parade in Paris.

The fast-food chain was recently in news in the country when they stopped giving straws following the ban on single-use plastic in the state. Starbucks was also affected by the ban. Both the giants have now decided to build a fully recyclable, compostable cup within the next three years. They have plans to change the way single-use cups are made and disposed of.
