The disturbing photos, which were shared on the social networking site Reddit, ignited discussions on whether or not flash photography is appropriate in aquariums. In an upsetting video from an unidentified aquarium exhibit, tourists can be seen snapping flash photos of the fish tank.
As the video continues, viewers can see a tuna fish suddenly swim head-on against the glass before sinking to the aquarium's bottom. Visitors were horrified by the horrific occurrence, and several were heard gasping as a result of what they saw. A Reddit member was disturbed by the incident and commented on the video, saying that flash photography in aquariums should be prohibited since it might upset and frighten fish. I've always abided by the "no flash photography" policy at an aquarium, but I never understood why or what may occur, one user said.
