A man was arrested from Planet Fitness in New Hampshire for doing exercises without clothes. The police said that he started doing yoga after stripping in the popular gym. Eric Stagno was charged with indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct on Sunday. He is free on bail and is scheduled to appear before the court on September 21. When asked he allegedly referred to Planet Fitness' slogan that it is a 'Judgement Free Zone'.
Police said the 34-year-old he started doing poses on a yoga mat after removing his clothes. Police Capt. Brett Morgan told New Hampshire Union Leader said, "The story we got from witnesses was that the guy walked in, stripped down right there in front, left the clothes and belongings at the front desk, walked back and forth across the gym a couple of times and then settled in over at the yoga mats."
Morgan added saying, "The only comment he made was that he thought it was a judgment-free zone, apparently referencing their slogan." Some witnesses said that they felt uncomfortable, disgusted and unsafe with his presence. He told CBS Boston, "There were more witnesses coming forward than we could take names.
Morgan further said, "The only statement that he made was that he thought it was a 'judgment free zone' – apparently referencing the chain's slogan." He was released on a bail of USD 1000. Morgan also said that Stagno "did have some drug paraphernalia in his possession," but it is not clear if he was under the influence. He said, "It's not a clothing-free zone."
