Man Pretends to be Former Moroccan PM And Gains Entry at Restaurant, Video Goes Viral

A man in Morocco pulled an unusual stunt and faired pretty well. He tricked staff at a restaurant into believing he is the former Moroccan Prime Minister
Abdelilah Benkirane and got a reservation there. We have all been irked many-a-times when restaurants say they are full when we call to make bookings. But this man found a way out and that was by pretending to be the ex-PM of his own country.
The story was shared on social media by a Twitter user, Ihab (@Ihab8knicks) from New York. The tweet was shared along with a video which showed the man pretending to be former Moroccan PM shaking hands with a chef while signing a plate and taking photos. The tweet reads, "My dad wanted to make a reservation at a restaurant and they told him that they were completely booked, minutes later he called back claiming to be the Prime Minister of Morocco."

The video was quick to go viral on social media with people appreciating the man's skills. Most Twitter users appeared impressed by the efficiency by which the man pretended to be someone so popular. People soon started sharing pictures comparing the both.
The man clearly received great treatment at the hotel which otherwise would not have been possible. While he doesn't look completely like the dignitary, he does have some facial features of the politician. The video has received over 1,57,000 likes and more than 58,000 retweets at the time of writing this article. The video has gone quite viral with people around the globe sharing it.
