"I was watching a tuk-tuk on eBay and I’d had a beer or two. My wife went to bed, and I thought, ‘Well, why not? Let’s have a tuk-tuk." And he decided to make a world record with it, since he had already spent a considerable amount on the purchase. He also spent a lot more money to make his vehicle capable of running that fast to make his record. And now he has indeed made a record for fastest autorickshaw/tuk tuk (prototype).
