The Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is winning hearts of everyone currently with their reply to a user's complaint about the kind of ads on their site. Just yesterday a user named Anand Kumar complained on Twitter to IRCTC about the obscene ads on his screen, also tagging the Railway Ministry handle and Piyush Goyal. The IRCTC was quick to address the issue and said the ads are displayed upon the user's search history. While this reply by the official handle impressed everyone, the man in question is still unconvinced. He replied to them stating their reply was very "vague and cryptic," asking Railways for further clarification. The user continued to get trolled on the site.

The IRCTC explained to him that what ads a person sees on their sites are based on a person's browsing history and based on Google's ad serving tool ADX. It is actually a cookie-based targeting done by the search engine. But clearly, the user who goes by the handle @anandk2012 did not get it. He replied to them saying they have a very cryptic reply and once again got trolled by users online.

He tried to blame the site again and also said they are shunning away from their responsibility. His tweet like the initial one was also made fun of by some others on Twitter.

Here's What He Tweeted to IRCTC Initially:

Some people provided him links explaining how ads on Google work. Check some tweets of people responding to him.

Someone please explain?

People tried their bit of understanding

Now it remains to be seen if the IRCTC provides an in-depth explanation for his claim. And if they do try and explain in more detail it will be funny for sure. Clearly, the guy needs to do more research into Google Ads or clear his browsing history ASAP!
