A Malaysian singer named Zarith Sofia Yasin faced arrest because she kept a bear as a pet. She was accused of illegally keeping a sun bear cub in her building complex. But what is shocking is she thought it was a dog which she had 'rescued' and not a dog! She had found the cub near a roadside and thought it was a dog, so she got him home and tended to it. She named him Bruno. People found out about it after a video of the bear peeking out of the window was captured and shared on social media. Instagram Bear Stepan Poses With Beautiful Women! Zarith Yasin told Malay Daily, "It was night time when I found the bear cub in a weakened state by the side of the road - and I thought it was dog." She also told in another report that she found it two weeks ago near a tourist spot in Malaysia. After the video of the bear went viral, she was arrested by the Wildlife and National Parks Department. But Yasin mentioned that she was aware of the law and had no intention of disrespecting it. While she kept the bear in the house, she hadn't caged it. She planned to hand it over to the Zoo Negara after nursing it. The video got close to 80,000 views and the authorities were quick to respond and raided the singer's condo. She was even accused of running a business of selling protected wildlife, but she dismissed them. She, in fact, said that she just wanted to save the bear. She had no intention of any exploitation and while she kept it, she did not let him starve. Well, Zaritha clearly knew it was a bear in the first place then. Wonder why she reasoned it with being a dog!
