Akshit Jadhav, a student of Shanti Nagar High School in Mira Road, Mumbai secured just enough marks to clear Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Class 10 examination. While top scorers generally make it to headlines, Akshit has become popular for passing every subject with 35 marks out of 100, the required bar to pass a subject. Rohit Rohidas Sonawane, who also appeared for Class 10 exams this year has also scored 35 in all subjects. They had appeared exams for languages, Maths, Science and Social Sciences. In all, both Akshit and Rohit have scored 175 marks out of 500. Maharashtra Class 10 SSC Board Results 2019 were announced on Saturday. 'Sairat' Star Rinku Scores 82% in Maharashtra Board Class 12 HSC Exam.

After the results were announced, Akshit celebrated the success with his friends. Akshit's parents are also happy with their son's marks. The Times of India quoted his father Ganesh Jadhav, a diamond checker as saying, "We expected him to score 50 percent but scoring the perfect passing score is unique and we are very happy for him. We are celebrating as if he has scored 99 percent." Akshit loves football and plans to be a footballer some day.

The report quoted his mother Aruna, a homemaker as saying, "He enrolled as a private candidate and we extremely happy about his achievement. He coaches in football and plans to build a career in sports." Meanwhile, Akshit told the Free Press Journal, "I had not expected to pass, so I am happy that 35 is my lucky number and I have cleared these exams." 16 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam this year and 77.10 per cent students cleared it. Of which 20 students have scored 100 percent marks.

At a time when students and parents are competing and doing everything in their capacity to achieve top scores in Class 10 exams, Akshit and his family' attitude towards exams is clearly against the wave. With parents supporting his sports career, we hope and wish Akshit a great future.
