A Pakistani groom is going viral for display of gold during his wedding reception. The groom from Lahore dressed in the finest of his clothes with a splash of gold all over him. Hafiz Salman Shahid, a businessman from Lahore, along with golden accessories even a golden shoe! He paired his blingy golden suit with tie embellished in gold crystals.
We wonder how much the bride's friends charged him after the Joota Chori ritual. Or he himself hid it considering the fear of real 'Chori'. Well, this shows the obsession desis have with gold.

According to reports, the man in total wore gold worth Rs 25 lakhs (Pakistani currency). The suit that he wore to his Walima, the reception party was worth Rs 63,000. The embellishment of crystals cost another Rs 16,000. And not to miss the tie which is adorned with approximately 116 gms of gold which cost Rs 5 lakhs. He completed his lavish avatar with shoes made of 32 gms real gold. The footwear with floral patterns cost him Rs 17 lakhs. Reportedly, the man has been identified as a businessman from Valencia Town.
