Getting a PhD degree is no mean feat. It demands a lot of research-based studies and to get oneself enrolled in the course is also a task in itself. The kind of study required to get through can cause a lot of stress and lack of sleep among the students. But an Indian-based student named Kuldeep Mann (52) not only paid a heavy amount to enrol for a PhD but also experienced a lack of sex drive in a bid to get himself an admission for the course in Queensland's James Cook University. However, his money and efforts went in vain when he failed in two subjects. He has now sued the Australian university for damages of (AUD) $3.125 million! Erectile Dysfunction Causes and Cure: Here's What You Can do About Lack of Sexual Desires.

A resident of Melbourne, Kuldeep Mann wants to pursue a PhD course in social sciences at the Townsville campus of Queensland's James Cook University. He paid $20,000 in 2015 for the course. But his application was rejected, he failed and the faculty accused him of plagiarism. Mann further accused the staff of mental torture that he had to face, which also affected his sex life. He was quoted to 9News, "If the university didn't have this kind of trick on me, had they not destroyed my... ruined my career I should have by now completed my PhD." One in Three Indians Over 40 Suffers From Poor Erection and Lack of Libido Due to Testosterone Deficiency Syndrome: Study.

He mentioned how he no longer wanted to share his bed with his partner and felt a lack of desire. He added, "It has stopped my sex life. I have no sex drive. There is no stimulation in my organs. I have never had this problem before. I don't feel any blood down there." He has taken his fight in the court and also submitted a 20-page document which claims for damages. He now hopes the Supreme Court will do full justice to him and give him compensation as a remedy. Not sure what will be the judgement here, but this man is clearly experiencing sleepless nights over his studies.
