Using public washrooms are one of the most dreaded things. Unless you practice squatting it is almost difficult to use one. Understanding the dilemma, a Hyderabad-based company, Ixora FM has started Loo Café that will bring clean washrooms to the city. Loo Café consists of three washrooms, a cafe and a space for ATM. The first-of-its-kind initiative has luxurious washrooms each for men, women and disabled.

The 170 square feet has been allocated to the company by GHMC. It was inaugurated by Telangana IT and industries minister, KT Rama Rao, in Hi-Tec City. The Loot Café has been set up at an investment of over Rs 10 lakh.

The Times of India quoted Ixora FM founder and CEO Abhishek Nath as saying, "One need not pay to use the washrooms. We will maintain the facility through the revenues generated by the adjoining café." Explaining about the structure, Nath said that it is made of fireproof pre-fabricated-wood and insect-proof. To ensure security, CCTV cameras will be installed around the Café Loo.

Nath added saying, "Loo Café aims to ensure hygiene, waste management and sanitation across the nation. The goal of Loo Cafe is to achieve open defecation free cities by 2019."

Ixora FM was set up two years ago and has a revenue of 20 crores in FY18. They are expecting a five-fold jump this financial year. The company has business in nine cities and will be expanding to four new cities this year. They manage operations over 100 facilities in the country.
