Loch Ness Monster Caught on Camera in UK? Researchers Claim To Capture 'First Ever Video' of Monster 'Nessie' As Thermal Imaging Drone Spots 'Mass' in Scotland
Tim Whittard, the project's producer, said, "These thermal drones allowed us to see the loch in infrared. With this equipment we were able to see immediately if any animal breaks the water's surface." Mumbai, August 31: Researchers in Scotland have reportedly claimed to have captured the "first ever video" of the Loch Ness Monster. The video, the first of its kind, allegedly shows a large animal relaxing on the bank in Scotland. Notably, the bizarre sighting was made at night after researchers used heat-sensing drone technology. The new-age technology was used as part of the mass hunt launched for the creature in Scotland.
According to a report in Mirror.Co.UK, the alleged "first ever video" of the Loch Ness Monster was captured by production company Dragonfly Films, which used thermal imaging technology as part of their massive hunt. The production company believes they have filmed Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster, near the shore. Loch Ness Monster: Biggest Search in 50 Years Begins.
Speaking about their discovery, Tim Whittard, the project's producer, said, "These thermal drones allowed us to see the loch in infrared. With this equipment we were able to see immediately if any animal breaks the water's surface." Whittard also said that thermal imaging technology has been available for years but was not used until they deployed it to investigate the mystery.
"It did detect an unusual heat signature on one of the thermal imaging drones - a large mass near the shore," he added. The research for the mysterious monster saw researchers and enthusiasts coming from Japan and Australia to join the search. As per the report, the "first ever video" of the Loch Ness Monster will be included in the season finale of a TV series called "Weird Britain" by Dragonfly Films. The new series will likely be broadcast on TV in the United Kingdom by the end of 2023. A UK couple in the search said they "want to believe" that they spotted the Loch Ness Monster first.
