Nessie reappeared from the water about 10 feet away later on. Charlotte Robinson told in Daily Mail report, "'There was something in the water about 50 feet from the shore. I took a photo. It had a neck and head was in the shape of a hook." The girl doesn't exactly know how far it was but she did believe in the legend of Nessie. "I kinda believed in Nessie, but I wanted to see the proof. I always imagined her as having a long neck and flippers," she said.

The mother too could not believe that the child had managed to capture the said monster on their phone camera. "I am totally excited by this photograph - it is the best of 'Nessie' in years," he was quoted. He also said that this is the kind of image he was waiting to see for years.
This year there have been four sightings of the monster that are recorded. There is an Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings' Register to document the spotting of this creature.
