Lionel Messi became a butt of all the jokes on the social media, soon after he failed to convert a penalty kick into a goal against Iceland in their Group D match at FIFA World Cup 2018. The Argentinian captain missed an opportunity to score the goal when the side was awarded a penalty kick in the 64th minute of the match! It was herculean save by Iceland’s goalkeeper Hannes Halldorsson that saw Iceland played out their debut match at football World Cup with a draw.
The match ended in the draw after Lionel Messi missed the penalty shot.
