Lilly Singh Aka Superwoman Takes Break From YouTube to Focus on Mental Health (Watch Video)

Lilly Singh, one of the most popular YouTubers is taking a break from the platform. With plans to focus better on her mental health, the online creator in her latest video told her viewers that she is "mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted." Popularly known by her YouTube name Superwoman, she has been churning out videos for the past eight years. Lilly Singh has more than 16 million subscribers and is among highest earning YouTubers.
Titled 'I'll see you soon' in the video Lilly gives a shout-out to other YouTubers who similarly took a break to focus better on their overall health. Referring to Alisha Marie, who took a two-month break over the summer, she says, "You are a great example for not only myself, but everyone else." Lilly emphasised that she is not leaving YouTube and the break will not change her feelings towards fans whom she refers to as Team Super. 6 YouTubers You Should Follow If You Love Fashion.
Talking about the need for a break, Lilly says YouTube is "kind of is a machine." She says "It makes creators believe that we have to pump out content consistently even at the cost of our life, and our mental health, and our happiness. Because if you don't, then you'll become 'irrelevant.'"

In the beginning, she mentions, "Straight up, I don't want this to be a dramatic video. I don't want to take myself too seriously and take things too seriously. There are way more important things happening in the world than this YouTube video. I just want to openly communicate with you all." She says that due to continuous creation on videos, Lilly feels that she has not been able to deliver her best. Over the years, the 30-year-old has done several traditional Hollywood projects including 'Bad Moms', 'Ice Age: Collision Course' and 'A Trip to Unicorn Island'.
