There have been several past instances where people have witnessed wild animals encroaching the lands of humans. In a recent instance, a leopard entered a resort’s kitchen at Seoni Pench Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. Seeing the leopard, panic erupted among the people living in the resort. The Forest Department team along with police officials came to the rescue for the people.
The leopard was found in the kitchen of the resort and people tried to chase him away with the help of long bamboo sticks.

In the video, people are trying to shoo the leopard away with the help of sticks. After several attempts, the leopard slyly escapes the kitchen and runs towards the forest. Members of the forest department and the police officials run behind the leopard, so that no one is injured. The leopard entered the kitchen in search of water.
Earlier in the year, in March, a leopard had entered a residential building in Ulhasnagar in Thane district of Maharashtra. The leopard was caught entering the building on CCTV camera footage. Well, these cases have often been reported and either the animal or the human is injured in the process. According to Wildlife Protection Society of India, the leopard deaths have fallen from 431 in 2017 to 214 in 2018.
