Lego, the building- brick toy group has once again shown off their creative side by making a Bugatti Chiron out of more than a million Lego Technic Elements. The car made by the iconic toy brick company can also be driven around! It generates 5.3 horsepower and is powered by an 80-volt battery and 2,304 of the Lego's Power Function toy motors. The cool Bugatti Chiron replica which cost Rs 20 lakh to be built can be taken for a ride at 20 km per hour.
Lego designer Aurelien Rouffiange and the team together built it. To create the replica, a team of 16 specialists at the Lego facility in Kladno, Czech Republic and worked on the design, mechanical and electrical part. It took more than 13,000 hours to put the pieces together and complete the making. The bricks were put together without any glue with the final product is 1.5 tonnes. The replica is just like the original and the team clearly needs to be appreciated for the job. Official Bugatti driver Andy Wallace told MetroUK, "When I first saw the Lego Chiron, I was immediately impressed by the accuracy of the model and the minute attention to detail. In fact, from about 20 metres away it’s not obvious that you are looking at a Lego car. I can only imagine how much time and effort went into making this model." This version will not be available for customers.

After making the car, Bugatti's official test driver Andy Wallace tested its functioning at Ehra Lessien test track in Germany. Lego documented the making process and has created a podcast about the project. The company which is into toy manufacturing business since 1949 also produces movies, gaming competitions and owns six amusement parks. As of July 2015, Lego has produced more than 600 billion parts of toys.
