Lady Gaga may have just seen a massive spike in her fan following from India and no, it's not because of her amazing music but because of her latest tweet. The Grammy Award-winning singer recently took to Twitter to post "Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu" which is a Sanskrit shloka. When translated in English, shloka means "May all beings be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all."

While the meaning of this Sanskrit term is surely nice, Twitterati is confused as to why Gaga had the urge to share it suddenly out of nowhere. The "Shallow" singer recently fell off the stage while dancing with a fan at a concert on Thursday and looks like she may be recovering by learning some Sanskrit. Given what a funny place social media is, Gaga was trolled within minutes of her posting this tweet.
