Reports indicate that her death followed a period of increasing distress, as evidenced by troubling social media posts in the days leading up to her passing. According to multiple reports, in the hours before her suicide, Aykut shared a poignant message on social media expressing her distress about her weight loss. She revealed, “I’ve gathered my energy, but I can’t seem to gain weight. I lose a kilogram every day. I don’t know what to do; I urgently need to gain weight.” On September 23, Aykut tragically fell from the fifth floor of her apartment building.
