KFC Promises $11,000 to Babies Born on September 9 and Named After Col Harland Sanders

Expecting parents, you have a chance of winning of $11,000 towards the child's education fund! There are conditions for sure, but if you are lucky enough the money could be yours. In honour of the owner and founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Harland Sanders' 128th birth anniversary, KFC has planned to reward parents who deliver their child on September 9. The rules don't end there, you will also have to name your newborn baby as Harland after the Colonel himself.
Colonel Harland David Sanders who was born on September 9, 1890, died on December 16, 1980, However, the name Harland has not been in fashion, in the 20th century there were only 155 of them. The fast-food outlet was not so happy that the name Harland ranked only 3,257 among the most common baby names in America.
But Harland may soon come back to fashion, thanks to KFC's efforts. KFC took to Twitter saying, "It's a great name for your baby. Just say it out loud. Harland. Plus, your greatly named kid could get $11,000 for college."

So, the first baby born whose legal first name is Harland born between midnight and 11:59 p.m. Eastern time (or the equivalent in other time zones) will earn $11,000 as a college donation. And the number is 11,000 highlighting KFC’s 11 herbs and spices. So if you are game then click on this link and get more details. It will go live on September 9 and will accept entries for 30 days. Parents must submit the name, date and time of their baby's birth and contact information. All data must be substantiated with official records.
