Watch Trailer of Shikara Movie
The movie Shikara, which is a romantic feature film, highlights the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley over 30 years ago. Jammu & Kashmir was then plagued by an insurgency movement, which reportedly led to the targeted assault on Pandits living in the region. Scores from the community left their homeland and migrated to other parts of the nation. Over the last three decades, persistent demands have been raised to re-settle the Pandits in the Valley.
