Madrid, June 03: Star youtuber Kanghua Ren on May 31 was sentenced to a 15-month prison by a Barcelona Court for his January 2017 video. Ren was also fined 20,000 Euro. According to reports, Ren’s youtube channel ‘ReSet’ and other social media accounts will also be shut down for five years. However, the star youtuber is unlikely to be lodged in prison. As per Spanish Law, imprisonment of under two years for committing non-violent crimes stands suspended. In the video, the star youtuber was gave a homeless man in Barcelona Oreo cookies refilled with toothpaste. Ren was found guilty of violating the moral integrity of the homeless man. After having the cookies, the 52-year-old vomited. He told a local paper that he had not been treated in such a way before.
