Jameela Jamil has always called a spade, a spade. She has spoken her mind and always been very vocal about the issues with the beauty standards in the society. Pointing out the biggest flaws in the society's mindset about beauty and body image, she has in the past spoken about how the beauty advertisements today are having a terrible effect on the minds of young girls. Something similar to what even she faced when she was young and crazy about going down to size zero. She recently took on to Twitter to blast the beauty company Avon for their irresponsible advertising. Jameela Jamil schooled Avon for their new marketing campaign that they promoted on their website. She had also earlier Called Out Cardi B, Khloé Kardashian For Endorsing Detox Teas For Slimming in a Hilarious Video.

Jameela expressed her surprise on how Avon’s new campaign could promote the idea that “everybody is beautiful” in one sentence and help “soften stretch marks” in the next.

"The Good Place" actor Jameela retweeted Avon's post that read, "dimples are cute on your face (not on your thighs)," and wrote in her tweet: "And yet EVERYONE has dimples on their thighs, I do, you do, and the CLOWNS at @Avon_UK certainly do. Stop shaming women about age, gravity and cellulite. They’re inevitable, completely normal things. To make us fear them and try to “fix” them, is to literally set us up for failure."

Take a look at Jameela Jamil's tweet-

She further went on to say, "Shame on

@AvonInsider and any publication that allows this sort of abusive advertising. My timeline is full of women saying adverts like these are why they are afraid to be naked in front of lovers, or to wear a swimsuit. You are being robbed of your money and self-esteem."

Here the Jameela Jamil's another tweet-

Avon finally replied to her by saying, "Hi Jameela, Naked Proof is not an Avon UK Campaign and will not be featured in any of our materials. We are looking into this further."

Here's the tweet's reply from Avon.

Jameela asked the brand to publicly denounce the campaign by saying, " Because @AvonInsider is taking money for advertising from this madness you are responsible. Please make sure your company publicly denounces this campaign or you will continue to fall under the umbrella of beauty industry companies that break women to sell to them products"

This is not the first time Jameela has spoken out against such advertising that subtly tend to hamper the mental health of women around by hitting their self-esteem. We wish Jameela keeps up her good work. You go, girl!
