Videos of trained sea lions posing with tourists for photos are quite common on social media. They glide next to you and pose for pictures just like humans. It looks quite a sight and garners a lot of attention. And here is a sea lion whose antics have gone viral on social media. In the video, a family of three poses with a sea lion in front of a swimming pool. The sea lion takes a dip, flaunts its glides and stands at just the right place behind the couple. Its handler comes and bends its head a little and there the animal stands without moving.

As it smiles for the camera, a toddler, the woman, is holding can't stop looking at the sea lion (obviously). The baby continues to look up at the animal as the parents smile for photos. The photographer can be heard trying to gain the baby's attention but in vain. The woman also tries to make the baby pose for the camera, but the child likes the sealion more and can't take eyes off the animal.

However, Twitterati did not look impressed and replied with video of incidents wherein sealions attack people. In May last year, a Canadian girl was dragged into the water by a sea lion. The animal pulled her into the sea as she sat on Richmond in British Columbia. The girl was pulled out immediately and treated for infection. There have been multiple such cases in the past when animals unimpressed by human interference attacked them.
