Irfan Pathan Posts Photo From Kashmir Calling it 'Most Beautiful Place' Amid Article 370 Abrogation Row

Irfan Pathan is the mentor of Jammu and Kashmir cricket team, and has been training upcoming cricketers in the valley. He had posted earlier photo from Kashmir as well with his kid. But he had to leave the valley following government's orders amid the turmoil in the valley.

Mumbai, August 6: Indian cricketer and mentor of Jammu and Kashmir team, Irfan Pathan, amid the ongoing major political developments in the valley, tweeted a picture of him from Kashmir, calling it the "Most beautiful place in the world."Kashmir Special Status Scrapped, Amit Shah Promises Speedy Development in Next 5 Years

The cricketer's post on Instagram, comes in the wake of Article 370 abrogation by the state of India, which takes away the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcates the state into two Union Territories (UT), namely Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Irfan Pathan, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Team Asked to Leave Valley With Eye on Security.

Earlier, Irfan Pathan had also tweeted when he was one of the 100 cricketers who were asked to leave the valley before the announcement by government in Rajya Sabha. "The fact that #AmarnathYatris have been asked to go back and stopped the #Yatra means it is under threat. That's why security measures are taken. Apni gandi soch Badlo. Har baat mein religion mat daalo. Har baat mein saboot mat maango," Irfan had said in his tweet.

“Our camp has been shut down and the cricketers were sent back to their homes. The camp was from June 14 to July 14 and after a break of ten days, camp restarted from July 25. Yesterday, about 100 players were sent back to their home,” Pathan said speaking to ANI.
