The historic discussion in Singapore between North Korean President Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump had all eyes. People from not just the respective countries but the world over were keen to know the outcome of this summit with an aim to curb possibilities of nuclear war. Mohan has no qualms about spending so much. "Singapore dollar 765 ($ 573 or Rs 38,600) is a big sum, more than 2,000 in ringgit. But it is not too much to meet the president," he said. He also knew there were close to no chances of him meeting Trump. But he ensured all the possibilities. He was staying in the hotel wing which was adjacent to Trump. He stationed himself into the hotel lobby from 6.30 AM to try his luck. On the first day, he stood for about 5 hours to meet with the president in the hope to get his signature on number one bestseller Trump: The Art Of The Deal. He did get a glimpse apparently when Trump left the hotel for the summit early today morning. He is alone Trump-supporter in Malaysia and almost everyone said what he was doing was useless. "Everyone told me there is zero chance, one per cent chance (of catching Trump) even being within 20 km radius of the president... But who knows? Sometimes the impossible can happen," he said. His love for Trump gets him a lot of hate but it doesn't bother him. His admiration for Trump goes much back to his becoming the US President. He has been a fan of his since 2007. Well, no doubts, he spent a bomb to catch a glimpse who many in the world choose to just ignore.
