Two sets of identical twins who met at the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg in Ohio earlier this year got married recently. Two brothers proposed to two sisters in February and had planned on a joined wedding. And earlier this week, Brittany Deane and Briana Deane got married to Josh Salyers and Jeremy Salyers respectively.
The couples were even married by identical twin ministers during the ceremony that was themed 'Twice Upon a Time'. The couple also featured on Summit County Probate Court's Facebook page with marriage licenses in their hand. Their wedding will be aired on TLC in an hour-long special programme.
The Twins Days Festival according to their website is the "largest annual gathering of twins (and other multiples) in the world". The event brings together 2000 sets of twins from around the world every year. The event events with fireworks among other festivities. For those coming from out of town, tickets cost USD 4. Both the brides wore similar white wedding gowns while the bridegrooms dressed in identical black suits and blue ties. Both the couples are now excited to start their new lives in the same house. They want their kids to grow up together who they wish to be twins too.
The proposal was quite a surprise for the women as the men that told that they were to come dressed for an ad shoot. But the men went on their knees and proposed them. Briana said that she had dreamt of she and her sister marrying twins since they were young and have a double proposal. We wish both the couple a happy married life!
