IAS topper Tina Dabi has gained a lot of limelight ever since she secured the highest marks in UPSC's civil services examination in 2015. Amir Athar Amirul Shafi Khan had received the second rank in the same examination that year. The duo was in the news again when they got married on March 20 in Jaipur this year. They were in the same academy and fell in love. Now Tina has grabbed headlines once again for winning the prestigious President's Gold Medal after two-year training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
Dabi took to social media proudly posing with the Gold Medal. Dedicating the award to her family, she posted the pictures on social media. Internet users praised the IAS topper for her achievement calling her an inspiration to many. Dabi writes, "I am delighted to have received the President’s Gold Medal for First in Order of Merit in my batch, at the Valediction Ceremony held today, on completing two years of Training."

Tina and Aamir were in the news earlier after video and pictures of them dancing went viral. The duo was seen dancing on the popular Bollywood song Jaanu Meri Jaan from the film 1980’s Shaan starring Amitabh Bachchan.
After they announced their marriage, the couple had faced communal backlash on social media. Tina also made it clear that she and her husband would continue to follow their religion. After a simple court ceremony in Jaipur, receptions were held in bridegroom's home state Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam and bride's place in New Delhi. The IAS couple's wedding reception held in New Delhi in March was attended by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad among other dignitaries.
