Dogs are a man's best friend but sometimes can act as a best-friend even for other animals. A husky dog has become a motherly figure to seven little kittens who he rescued from a cardboard box. These kitties were left to die in a cardboard box in the woods near her house in Georgia, USA. Whitney Braley, the owner of Banner husky, was surprised as to how her pet found out the kitties. Braley noticed something amiss about Banner who was in a panicking situation. She was acting all weird one morning and kept tugging at the owner's dress. Banner then led her to the woods around their home and headed straight to an abandoned cardboard box. When Braley opened the box she was shocked to see seven little kittens, nearly dead. They were not making any noises but were moving. She then got the litter home. Dogs or Cats? Know Who is Smarter and Why According to Scientific Backing!

While describing the condition in which they were found, she said, "Someone must have just put them into a cardboard box, closed the lid tight and left them there to die. They probably thought that no one would ever discover them. I don’t even know how Banner knew they were in there. The kittens were freezing and weren’t meowing or anything." But now she is proud of Banner and is calling her a hero. The kittens were just about a day old when Braley got them. An Adorable Cat Named Dog is Selling Fish in Vietnam, See Cute Pictures of the Feline Seller.

But Braley could not leave them anywhere and decided to take care of them until they could be adopted. And she got a surprising company of Banner again. Banner apparently looks after the 'babies.' As Braley was quoted to a news report, "She won’t leave their side. You can see her watching them all the time and counting them to make sure they’re all still there. She lays down with them, cuddles with them and takes naps with them. She is like their adopted mum and she sees them as her babies." Banner is showing her maternal skills to these rescued pups. It is indeed cute to know how Banner has taken the responsibility of his newly found guests.
