LEGO has given all the Harry Potter fans a reason to rejoice by announcing a 6,020 piece Hogwarts set.
Harry Potter fans, here’s an awesome news for you all. The Denmark based construction toys company Lego has announced a 6,020 piece Hogwarts set. While there is a range of Harry Potter themed products available in the market, Lego has announced to bring the one which wasn’t there – Hogwarts itself. A popular household name, Lego is famous for its plastic brick toys that allows users to build, tear down and rebuild a number of designs. Over the years the company has modified its toys by adding new features like gears, mini figures, lights etc. and also came up with a range of sets from popular culture like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and Cars.
Lego announced the news of Hogwarts set on twitter:
The set will have 27 microscale figures, featuring the halls, staircases and secret rooms of the castle. If there is one thing that makes Harry Potter so epic, it is the detailed imagery of everything. And the makers have made sure they don't miss out on it. The set has taken care of little details. It will have the segments like: Great Hall, the library, potions class, the Room of Requirement, the giant chess set, the Chamber of Secrets, Hagrid’s Hut, the Whomping Willow. The entire castle measures over 22” (58cm) high, 27” (69cm) wide and 16” (43cm) deep.
The 27 microscale figures in the set will include Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Albus Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, Remus Lupin, Professor Dolores Umbridge, Argus Filch, Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix Lestrange, 3 students from each of the 4 houses as well as creepy creatures Aragog the spider, the Basilisk, a Hungarian Horntail dragon, and five Dementors.
Also, there will be figures of the four founders of the four Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Salazar Slytherin and Rowena Ravenclaw.
Needless to say, Twitterati is super-thrilled after this announcement from LEGO.
The set will be available for sale in the market from September 1, 2018 and is priced at $649.99.
