1. Grandpa Kitchen Tasty Recipe One - American Sweet Corn Snack
First up is American Sweet Corn, Grandpa takes packets of corn and begins with boiling them. He adds salt to the water. After the corn is properly boiled, adds cornflour and mixes it properly and deep-fries it. He sprinkles a lot of chaat masala (spice powder mix or masala), cumin powder, red chilli powder and again mixes them properly. He squeezes lemon juice on the blend, goes on to add fried curry leaves, chopped spring onions, coriander leaves and voila crispy sweet corn is ready.
2. Grandpa Kitchen Tasty Recipe Two - Chicken Biryani
On a rainy day, Grandpa began making the tradition full chicken biryani by cleaning more than 30-40 chicken and making sharp cuts on them. Sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, biryani spices, lemon juice, home-made chicken masala, ghee, curd, fried onions, green chilli, chopped tomatoes, coriander and mint leaves, chopped onions, oil, and mix all these ingredients with chicken well. Marinate it for one hour.
Later, Narayana Reddy took a large container, poured lots of water, then added salt, oil, spices, lemon juice and covered it with a lid. After a few minutes of boiling, he added basmati rice and covered the top again for it to cook properly. He then covers marinated chicken with the cooked rice, adds oil, kewra water, saffron, fried onions, mint leaves, coriander leaves. The trickiest bit is preparing all of it, which he does by sealing the container and lid with dough. It is not easy to cook food on such a large scale with no supplicated aids, but he does it so smoothly.
