Good Samaritan! This Peru Doctor Saw Families of Sick Children Lying on Floors of Hospitals And Decided To Do Something About it

Deeply moved to see the families of the sick and unwell children sleeping on the floors, he decided and resolved to do something. And that resolve helped form Inspira, the nonprofit organisation formed by Dr Pun- Chong.

Lima, July 2: Cancer is not just a challenge for the patients but also for the relatives and loved ones of the affected. Especially in the developing countries where facilities for treating cancer affected are far and few. In such a situation, when a doctor plays the role of a good samaritan, he is bound to get noticed. Just as Dr Ricardo Pun- Chong. The good doctor in in news for providing food and shelter to the needy who come to get their children treated for cancer.

Dr Richardo, whose story was shared by CNN, reportedly got the noble idea of helping the relatives of the children when he used to make rounds of various hospitals to fulfill the criteria for his medical criteria.

Upon learning that many came from far away and distant places, and deeply moved to see the families of the sick and unwell children sleeping on the floors, he decided and resolved to do something. And that resolve helped form Inspira, the nonprofit organisation formed by Dr Pun- Chong.

The non-profit helps and gives free shelter and food facility as well as other essential help to the families of the sick children. When asked as to what inspires him to do the work he does, he simply said that it is the kids themselves and the realization of how strong they are and their fighting spirit, that motivates him and makes him believe that any problem can be solved.
