The central states of Maharashtra, Goa and few states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu down South, celebrate it in much fanfare compared to the rest of the country. Although, the belief in Lord Ganesha remains prominent among all the Hindus. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated even across the borders. But the greatest example of communal harmony comes from Pakistan.
