The students from Class 10 and Class 12 in Haryana can be called more creative than studious when it comes to academics. However, this creativity will not give them any better grades and their future doesn't seem bright. Currently, the answer sheets are being checked and evaluators are bewildered by the kind of answers they have got. The subject left aside, children have written jokes and shayaris for the teachers! A few days back we saw some UP students offering bribes and using emotional blackmail as a tool to secure marks to pass the coveted examination.
Students in UP had placed Rs. 100, Rs. 200 notes inside the answer sheets to impress the teachers. One of the students had written love-letter and given love affair as a reason for not studying! In the new set of question papers that are being checked, students have also offered to throw a party for the invigilator if they ensure the student passes with good grades. The student said he/she will get Rs. 600 along with. The Times of India report quotes a teacher from a government school who mentioned one of the students had answered the entire 30 questions in the exam with one shayari, "The student has been given zero marks in the exam paper," he added. Repeating the same shayari clearly doesn't work! One other student has begged the teacher to pass them as she would have a lot of burden otherwise.

These are some of the answers found in Class 10 and 12 English, Math and Hindi papers. The papers are being evaluated at four centres in Gurugram, Haryana. While the answers seem all funny right now, it is a thing to worry about the future of these kids. In such cases, the failure count seems to be more and it is definitely a worrisome thing for both the teachers and the parents.
