‘Friends’ Fan to Get Paid $1000 to Binge-Watch the American Sitcom for 25 Hours, US Frontier Communications Begins Contest for Show’s 25th Anniversary

Frontier Communications is paying $1000 to a fan who can sit on a Friends marathon for 25 hours and live tweet about the same. The application submissions have already started and fans must submit their interest by September 3, 2019.

The craze to binge-watch Friends can never go away. And now you can even get paid for it. The American sitcom, which first aired on September 22, 1994, is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. A lot of events are on the line, but Frontier Communications is earning praises after announcing the contest, which is possibly the best one so far. The US Company is paying $1000 to any fan who can sit on a Friends marathon for 25 hours and live tweet about the same. The fan has to have an active Twitter account and should be a citizen of the United States of America. To participate in the Binge-Watch Friends contest, you will have to visit the company’s website or simply click here. “This job is for any self-proclaimed die-hard Friends superfan looking to prove their salt,” reads the job description. After finishing the marathon, you will have to click your picture and tweet it celebrating September 22 with your gang.

What Are the Prizes?

  • After finishing the task, you will receive a check of $1000.
  • You will also receive free Netflix subscription for a year. And if you are already a Netflix user, the company will send you a Visa gift card valued at the cost of a year-long subscription.
  • You will also get a Friends fandom fun pack that will consist of a Friends t-shirt, Central Perk mug, popcorn and other treats.

After the entries are closed on September 3, the company will select one applicant and notify him or her through email on September 10, 2019. And then begins the person will have to watch the Friends marathon until September 22, 2019. The recent contest has come after Lego Company announced to launch mini-figures of the show’s characters, allowing fans to make their own Central Perk. We are so excited to know what else is lined up to mark the 25th anniversary of Friends.
