Former Tokyo University Professor Goes on 'Only Fruit' Diet For 8 Years, Now Claims to Have Become Superhuman

How many times have you promised yourself to follow that diet but never did? If you the following diet makes you miss out on a lot of amazing food items, then you must know about Mizuki Nakano, a former professor at Tokyo University in Japan who only eats fruits. Yes, the man is on fruit diet since 2009! According to the man's claims, his diet over the years has resulted in a unique phenomenon in which his body converts nitrogen in the air into the protein.
Nakano wanted to know the results of all-fruit-diet, but there were no existing theories which stated the results, hence, he decided to be subject to experiment himself. He did not switch his diet overnight, he gradually increased the intake of fruit into his body. Eventually, he also stopped drinking water and started completely relying on fruit juices.
He then began documenting his new journey on Ameblo blog thus grabbing the attention of Japanese media. He also updates his Twitter page with pictures of his everyday food. He soon appeared on TV shows and made it to headlines. Nakano appeared on a popular TV show, Matsuko's Unknown World where he spoke out his unusual eating habits. After some time, a rumour started doing rounds that his the professor had died of undernourishment.
The man now says that his diet has evolved him into a superhuman. During an interview, he told a TV host that researchers were surprised by the discovery. However, his research has no scientific backing and is risky considering person doesn't get all required nutrients.
